Bianca

Bianca has been helping me out this week on work experience. We have been having fun but were trapped in the studio for a couple of days due to portrait sittings being postponed because of the cold wind. At least we had an interesting corporate portait shoot and cake at a football club. Better then school? Thanks heaps Bianca!

Karen and Daniel had fun during this photoshoot getting their dogs to sit still and smile. There were so many distractions in way of smells, other dogs and lots of open space to explore. My Zeenia the warrior women call worked best at getting their attention.

Michelle and Daniel married on the 4th of July at Tuggerenong Homestead. It was a beautiful intimate wedding with their 2 boys Patrick and William as ring bearers. We had a small window of time to take some awesome photographs around the property. The light was amazing in places and thank you both for your great smiles and willingness to try different ideas.

Lots of commercial and portrait photography

It's been a few weeks since my last posting. I am always so busy; being a single Mum with 2 teenage girls with a successful photography business to run. The weddings are tapering off and I have been doing lots of portraits and commercial work. One of the highlights was photographing the 'Together' concert at the National Museum where Elena Kats-Chernin and William Barton performed some awesome music back by an orchestra. The atmosphere was ethereal due to the amazing lighting of the Museum. I really love my job!

These are 2 of the many portrait sittings I have done. The little boy is BJ and he just smiled non stop.... he is just so cute. The other cute boys had this photograph taken to give to their mum as a mothers day gift. She was so happy with it!!

D-Marie and Huw Botanical Gardens Canberra

D-Marie and Huw were married on the 18 of April at the Botanical Gardens. It was a very touching ceremony. Huw and D-Marie had been living in separate cities before the wedding and you could feel how happy they were to finally be together. We had a relaxing time taking the photos although a sprinkler came on whilst we were in the rainforest! I am really looking forward to catching up with Huw and D-Marie to do their album plan.
