Gabbie and Mark like to be different and this shined through on their wedding day, with Gabbie wearing a stunning red dress and Mark's children being the bridesmaid and best man. I loved the way Eleanor and Ben are a cherished part of Mark and Gabbie's life, and how they obviously love Gabbie. It is so refreshing to see family being valued and this resonated throughout the whole wedding, guests included.

Gabbie looked stunning and remained so despite the sudden change in temperature and resulting icy wind.

We all ended up with red noses and numb fingers after the photo shoot, but as you can see the resulting photographs were worth the big freeze.

Hope you love them as much as I do Gabbie and Mark!

Chris and Warren first gay couple marriage ceremony

Chris and Warren were the first gay couple to marry in Australia after legislation was past in parliament the previous day. They married in the grounds of old parliament house with close friends and family attending as well as a horde of press photographers and television cameras. The highlight was a dove release to symbolize the freedom to marry,of gay people all over Australia. It was a very moving occasion and Chris and Warren are such wonderful people. They had another marriage ceremony in early December where lots more people were invited to celebrate with them.

Jenny & Ivar

It was such a hot day, however Jenny and Ivar still managed to look like movie stars. They married on the 17 December at the House of Reps, Rose Gardens.
I have had so much heartache trying to decide what images to post, there are so many beautiful photographs. Jenny and Ivar met here whilst studying at university and now live in Ivar's home country Norway. Whilst we are having a heat wave Jenny tells me she would be warmer living in her freezer, with temperatures plumating to -41!!

Megan and Garry

Here are some pics from Megan and Garry's wedding on the 28th of November. We had a fantastic time with everyone being so friendly. I loved Megan's dress! The bridesmaids look fab in red and it really adds a spark to the photographs. i was a bit worried that my lovely assistant Karli was going to be sick on the boat cruise around the lake which Megan and Garry organised for their guests before the reception.

OMG I can't beleive how far behind I am with my blogging. December was a bit of a blur with having to work 7 days a week and lots of nights to keep up. I had to forego all the Christmas festivities except my kids.
I finished work late afternoon Christmas eve and have done lots of sleeping and relaxing since. It was sooo wonderful.

Anyway here are some images from Claire and Jason's wedding on the 14th of November. It was such a hot day and I still can't believe that Claire walked to the church with her boots on! Such a down to earth couple, we had a lot of fun on this whirlwind photoshoot. Thanks guys, hope you are coping with the heat back in South Australia.
